Bylaws, Policies & Enforcement
Bylaws, along with policies are used by planners and building inspectors in reviewing applications and ongoing projects. All bylaws, bylaws amendments and policies are thoroughly reviewed by staff and Council.
Development Services Bylaws
Every department within the City of Revelstoke has department specific bylaws which are adopted by Council in favour of the citizens of Revelstoke and the future development of the City. It is important to review Development Services bylaws prior to designing construction projects or land development projects.
The major bylaws that the Development Services Department utilizes are listed and linked to below, see link to all City Bylaws. Please note that there may be other City Bylaws or other Provincial / Federal Legislation that may need to be considered with a development application in the City.
