The City of Revelstoke has recently amended its policy with respect to
the new enhancement signage on Victoria Road. Now, all downtown
hospitality industry businesses, (hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts,
restaurants, tourist attractions) which are open year-round, are
eligible to lease a directional sign panel on an existing or future sign
structure.
Accordingly, the City will consider written requests from eligible
businesses to lease a sign panel (2 sides) on one of the existing
structures (Kootenay Street, Boyle Avenue or Third Street) subject to
availability.
In addition, to assist in planning for more sign structures, the City
would like to hear from eligible businesses who would be interested in
leasing signage at other Victoria Road intersection locations.
