The Commission’s responsibility is to advise City Council on those matters relating to the preservation and promotion of the built environment as well as the natural and cultural heritage of the community. This responsibility also includes making recommendations on submissions to the Community Heritage Register and providing comment on proposed renovations or upgrades to historic buildings.
