FIRE STATION:
The Fire Station was constructed in 1982 and has an area of 16,000
sq ft and 7 equipment bays.
 

MANPOWER:
  • 1 Career Fire Chief.
  • 5 Career firefighters
  • 29 Volunteers

EQUIPMENT:

  • 1999 Superior IHC 420 IGPM x 1500 Gallon Tender
  • 2000 Freightliner FL 80 Rescue Vehicle
  • 1986 Superior IHC 1050 pumper
  • 1981 King IHC 1050 pumper
  • 1977 King Scott 55ft snorkel 1050 pump

PUBLIC SAFETY

The Revelstoke Fire Department also operates the Revelstoke Firehall Museum, located at 227 West 4th Street. This museum features a fully restored 1923 International Bickle Fire Engine and a number of artifacts from Revelstoke's fire fighting past.
