CITY OF REVELSTOKE
BYLAW No. 1857

Being a Bylaw to Amend Zoning Bylaw No. 1264, 1984
___________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, deem it necessary to amend the City of Revelstoke Zoning Bylaw No. 1264, 1984 to allow for additional permitted uses in Comprehensive Development Zone 6 (CD 6).
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT Section 11A.6.1 be amended by adding the following:
(3) Offices
(4) Recreational facilities for the purpose of tumbling, gymnastics, dance, yoga, aerobics or similar physical fitness activities.
(5) Single family dwelling
(6) Two family dwelling
(7) Dwelling units in combination with commercial uses, subject to the conditions stated in Section 8.1.2 (2)
2. THAT general terms and conditions of this Bylaw have been advertised as required by Section 892 (2) of the Local Government Act.
3. THAT a Public Hearing was held pursuant to Section 890 and 892 of the Local Government Act.
4. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “City of Revelstoke Zoning Amendment Bylaw No.1857”.
5. THAT this Bylaw shall take affect upon the date of its adoption by City Council.
