CITY OF REVELSTOKE
BYLAW #1563, 1997
Being a Bylaw to Amend Zoning Bylaw #1264, 1984
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, deem it necessary to amend the City of Revelstoke Zoning Bylaw #1264, 1984 to allow for the construction of a Hotel with a permitted use of a commercial heliport.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT "Section 8.4A.1 Uses Permitted" be amended by deleting 8.4A.1(1) Motels and motor hotels and substituting the following:
8.4A.1(1) Motels, motor hotels and hotels".
2. THAT Page 19 of the Official Zoning Atlas, being Schedule A of Zoning Bylaw #1264, be amended by changing the zoning of Lot 6, Plan 12148 from C4 Highway Commercial District to C4-A Highway Commercial Special District.
3. THAT a Public Hearing was held pursuant to Sections 956 and 957 of the Municipal Act.
4. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke Zoning Amendment Bylaw #1563, 1997".
5. THAT this Bylaw shall take effect upon the date of it's adoption by City Council.
