CITY OF REVELSTOKE

Being a By-Law to Amend Zoning By-Law #1264, 1984

WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, deem it necessary to amend the City of Revelstoke Zoning By-Law #l264, l984 to provide for an amendment to the "Accessory Building" section.

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

l. THAT Section 5.6(2)(b) be amended by deleting the entire subsection and substituting the following therefore:

"(b) The total combined floor area of all accessory buildings
shall not exceed 80 sq. meters (864 sq. feet) and in no case
shall the total coverage of the principal building and all
accessory buildings exceed 40% of the total area of the lot,
except as otherwise specified in each zoning district."

2. THAT since the amendments are of a general nature and are consistent with the Official Community Plan, the Council hereby waives the holding of a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956(4) of the Municipal Act.

3. THAT section 958(5) of the Municipal Act is hereby invoked.

4. THAT the general terms and conditions of this By-Law have been advertised as required by Section 958(2) of the Municipal Act.

5. THAT Sec. l (b) of Zoning Amendment By-Law #l4l9 be repealed in its' entirety.

6. THAT this By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke Zoning Amendment By-Law #l469, l993."

7. THAT this By-Law shall come into full force and effect upon its' adoption thereof.

RECONSIDERED AND FINALLY ADOPTED THIS 27th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1993
