CONSOLIDATED FOR CONVENIENCE

All persons making use of this consolidated version of City of Revelstoke Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw No. 1780 are advised that it has no legislative sanction; that the amendments have been embodied for convenience of reference only and that the original bylaw must be consulted for all purposes of interpreting and applying the law.

Sub sections of the original bylaw and/or amendments which have been repealed have not been included in this consolidation.

A Bylaw to Establish and Utilize a City of Revelstoke Ticket Information System
___________________________________________________________________

WHEREAS Section 260 of the Community Charter authorizes the Council to, by Bylaw:

l. Designate those Bylaws which may be enforced by means of a form of ticket pre-scribed by regulation under Section 264 of the Community Charter;

2. Designate Bylaw Enforcement Officers for the purpose of enforcing Bylaws by means of a prescribed form of ticket;

3. Designate an offence against a Bylaw by means of a word or expression on a ticket; and

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

l. The Bylaws listed in Column l of Schedule l to this Bylaw may be enforced by means of a ticket in the form prescribed for the purpose of Section 260 of the Community Charter.

2. The persons appointed to the job positions or titles listed in Column 2 of Schedule l to this Bylaw are designated as Bylaw Enforcement Officers pursuant to Section 260 of the Community Charter for the purpose of enforcing the Bylaws listed in Column l of Schedule l opposite the respective job positions.

3. The words or expressions set forth in Column l of Schedules 2 through 10 to this By-law designate the offence committed under the Bylaw section number appearing in Column 2 opposite the respective words or expressions.

4. The amounts appearing in Column 3 of Schedules 2 through 10 to this Bylaw are the fines set pursuant to Section 260 of the Community Charter for the corresponding of-fences designated in Column l.

5. That City of Revelstoke Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw No. 1668 be repealed in its' entirety.

6. This Bylaw may be cited as the "City of Revelstoke Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw No. 1780."
7. This Bylaw shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
