CITY OF REVELSTOKE
BYLAW NO. 1713

Being a Bylaw to Close Off and Stop Up to Traffic a Portion of Big Eddy
Road Adjoining Lot A, Plan NEP22443, District Lot 7, Kootenay District
__________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 527 of the Local Government Act, Council may, by by-law, close a highway, or a portion of it, to traffic;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting assembled hereby enacts as follows:
1. THAT the portion of Big Eddy Road adjoining Lot A, Plan NEP22443, District Lot 7, Kootenay District, being 186 square metres as shown outlined in the Reference Plan attached as Schedule “A” and prepared by William E. Maddox, B.C. Land Surveyor on August 6, 2003, is not required for road purposes, and is hereby Closed and Stopped Up to traffic of all kinds.
2. That public access is not an issue.
3. That public notice of Council’s intention to adopt this Bylaw shall be advertised in prior to adoption thereof.
4. That this Bylaw shall be cited for all purposes as the “City of Revelstoke Big Eddy Road Closure Bylaw No. 1713”.
5. This Bylaw shall take effect upon the date of adoption.
