All persons making use of this consolidated version of City of Revelstoke Bylaw No. 1706 are advised that it has no legislative sanction; that the amendments have been embodied for convenience of reference only and that the original bylaw must be consulted for all purposes of interpreting and applying the law.

Sub sections of the original bylaw and/or amendments which have been repealed have not been included in this consolidation.

Being a Bylaw to Establish Fees and Charges for Various
Municipal Services and Goods
____________________________________________________________________


WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, deem it necessary to establish fees and charges for various municipal services and goods.

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled enacts as follows.

A. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke Fees and Charges for Various Municipal Services and Goods Bylaw No. 1706.

B. THAT FEES AND CHARGES BE ESTABLISHED AS FOLLOWS:
 

1. To charge interest, compounded monthly on overdue accounts
    - interest per month
1.5%

2. To provide account information over 24 previous months $15.00

3. To replace an N.S.F. cheque$15.00

4. To conduct a tax search$15.00

5. To provide tax demand notice$10.00

6. To fax information out of town - 1st page$2.00
                                                     - additional pages$1.00

7. To provide a Business Licence Directory$30.00

8. To provide List of Electors (candidates only) after one free copy$20.00

9. To provide copies of Council Minutes - Yearly (includes postage)$50.00
                                                                - per page$0.25

10. To photocopy - per page 8½ x 11 or 8½ x 14$0.25
                            - not for profit organization$0.15
                            - double-sided copy$0.40
                            - 11 x 17$0.50
Large Photocopier - paper size 3’ wide -  per running foot $1.50

11. To provide custom plotted maps - 11 x 17$6.00
                                                  - 24 x 36$18.00
                                                  - 36 x 60$30.00
                                                  - Photo Plot - per square foot$ 8.00

12. To provide prints of the following maps and bylaws: 
                           - Official Community Plan Bylaw (text only)$30.00
                           - Official Community Plan Maps (4) $15.00 each
                           - Zoning Bylaw (text only) $35.00
                           - Zoning Map $15.00
                           - Zoning Atlas $60.00
                           - Cadastral Base Map $15.00
                           - Subdivision Control Bylaw $20.00
                           - Other Bylaws - per sheet $0.25

13. To provide digital data -  per kilobyte$ 0.075
                                           - with a minimum fee of$30.00

14. To provide title searches$10.00

15. Verification of Property Status (Code Infractions, Zoning, Siting, Environmental Concerns, etc.) - 1990 to present$25.00

16. RCMP Criminal Record Check $25.00
             - not for profit organization free

To provide City pins - each$3.00

17. To provide building/fire code inspections related to seating capacity regulations for liquor establishments:
                     - single licence holder
$225.00
                     - bulk licence holder (2 or more)$350.00

18. *Amended Bylaw No. 1843 Liquor License applications requiring a public meeting / and or Council Resolution$600.00

19. *Amended Bylaw No. 1843 Amendments to Liquor License applications (No Council Resolution)$50.00

20. *Amended Bylaw No. 1845 Septage Waste Disposal at the Jordan Septage Composting site from within City limits $35.00 cubic metre

21. *Amended Bylaw No. 1845 Septage Waste Disposal at the Jordan Septage Composting site from "CSRD Area B"

$40.00 cubic metre


22. *Amended Bylaw No. 1884 Parking Space$20,000.00

23. *Amended Bylaw No. 1889 Road Closure Application – includes advertising$600.00
(If for any reason an application does not proceed to required advertising, of the original application fee may be refunded on written request of the applicant).$350.00

C. THAT City of Revelstoke Fees and Charges for Various Municipal Services and Goods Bylaw No. 1661, 2001 be repealed in its entirety.
