CITY OF REVELSTOKE
BYLAW NO. 1703
Road Closure Bylaw - Unnamed Road
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 527 of the Local Government Act, Council may, by by-law, close a highway, or a portion of it, to traffic;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting assembled hereby enacts as follows:
1. THAT undeveloped portion of Unnamed Road adjacent to Lot 1, Plan NEP 61631, Section 33, Township 23, Range 2, West of the 6th Meridian, Kootenay District shown as closed road comprising of 927 square metres on the Reference Plan pre-pared by Russell N. Shortt, BCLS and completed on the 31st day of January 2003, attached to the Bylaw as Schedule “A”, is hereby closed to traffic.
2. That public notice of Council’s intention to adopt this Bylaw shall be advertised prior to the adoption thereof.
3. That this Bylaw shall be cited for all purposes as the “City of Revelstoke Road Closure Bylaw No. 1703”.
4. This Bylaw shall take effect upon the date of adoption.
