A Bylaw to Authorize a Housing Agreement to Provide for the Provision of Housing for Individuals Aged 50 and Over and Physically Challenged Individuals

WHEREAS Section 905 of the Municipal Act of British Columbia authorizes a local government, by Bylaw to enter into a Housing Agreement which may include terms and conditions regarding the occupancy of the housing units;
AND WHEREAS Ian Ronald Stichbury and Karen Elizabeth Herbert are proposing to operate a Special Needs Housing Unit for individuals aged 50 and older and physically challenged individuals;
NOW THEREFORE The Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT the City of Revelstoke enter into a Housing Agreement with Ian Stichbury and Karen Herbert which is attached to this Bylaw as Schedule "A" and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute and deliver the Housing Agreement on behalf of the City and any notices and other documents contemplated by it.
2. THIS Bylaw may be cited as the "City of Revelstoke Housing Agreement Bylaw #1573, 1998".
3. THIS Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon its' adoption by City Council.
