A Bylaw For The Acquisition Of Property
___________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia deem it necessary to acquire land for the purpose of water tower overflow drainage.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 529 (1) of the Municipal Act Council may acquire land for municipal purposes.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:
1. That authority be granted for the City of Revelstoke to
purchase Lot 1, Plan 9825, Section 34, Township 23,
Range 2, W6M, Kootenay District for the sum of $5,500.00.
2. That this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the
"City of Revelstoke Land Acquisition Bylaw #1553, 1996".
3. That this Bylaw shall take effect upon the date of its
adoption by City Council.
READ A FIRST TIME THIS 25TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1996

READ A THIRD TIME THIS 25TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1996
