A Bylaw To Authorize A Housing Agreement For The Selkirk Condominium Adult Housing Development

WHEREAS Section 963.2 of the Municipal Act of British Columbia authorizes a local government, by Bylaw to enter into a Housing Agreement which may include terms and conditions regarding the occupancy of the housing units;
AND WHEREAS 479174 B.C. LTD. are proposing to build a housing development for seniors aged 55 and older;
AND WHEREAS the City of Revelstoke considers that housing stock for seniors is in short supply;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT the City of Revelstoke enter into a Housing Agreement with 479174 B.C. LTD. which is attached to this Bylaw as Schedule "A" and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute and deliver the Housing Agreement on behalf of the City and any notices and other documents contemplated by it.
2. THIS Bylaw may be cited as the "City of Revelstoke Selkirk Condominium Development Adult Housing Agreement Bylaw #1501, 1994."
3. THIS Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon its' adoption by City Council.
