NICHOL ROAD PARK EXCHANGE BYLAW, 1994
___________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 686(1) of the "Municipal Act", R.S.B.C. 1979, c. 290, the Council may, by bylaw, exchange park land for other land suitable for a public park,
AND WHEREAS the Council deems it desirable and expedient to effect an exchange of land suitable for a park;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Nichol Road Park Exchange Bylaw, 1994".
2. The City is hereby authorized to dispose of those portions of park land shown in the cross-hatched area, more particularly known and described as follows:
ALL AND SINGULAR those parts of park land lying within Section 22, Township 23, Kootenay District, dedicated by Subdivision Plan 12425; and containing a total of 129.6 Sq. M. , more or less, shown on "Schedule A" Explanatory Plan to accompany City of Revelstoke Bylaw No. 1498, to exchange Park in Plan 12425; and Lot A, Plan 14576 except Plan 14577; all in Section 22, Township 23, W.6.M., Kootenay District, prepared by Russell N. Shortt, B.C.L.S., and completed September 22, 1994.
and to accept in exchange therefore and to dedicate as park land that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate shown outlined in heavy dark line, lying and being in the City of Revelstoke, described as follows:
ALL AND SINGULAR that part of Lot A, Plan 14576 except Plan 14577; lying within Section 22, Township 23, W.6.M., Kootenay District, and containing 129.6 Sq. M., more or less, shown on "Schedule A" Explanatory Plan to accompany City of Revelstoke Bylaw No. 1498, to exchange Park in Plan 12425; and Lot A, Plan 14576 except plan 14577; all in Section 22, Township 23, W.6.M., Kootenay District, prepared by Russell N. Shortt, B.C.L.S., and completed September 22, 1994.
