CITY OF REVELSTOKE
BYLAW #1485, 1994
A Bylaw to Permit Encroachments on Highways
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia deem it prudent to enact a Bylaw to permit encroachments on highways.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT owners of properties legally described as:
Lots 14-15, Block 18, Section 34, Township 23, Range 2, Meridian 6, Kootenay Land District, Plan 636A located at 214 East First Street, Revelstoke, B.C.
are permitted to maintain, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Encroachment Agreement, attached as Schedule "A" to this Bylaw, a canopy as described in the Encroachment Agreement on that portion of highway described in the Encroachment Agreement.
2. THAT this encroachment is as a result of the owner of said lands constructing a 48' x 3' overhanging canopy.
3. THAT this Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon the adoption thereof by City Council.
4. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke Highway Encroachment Bylaw No. 1485, 1994."
