Being A Bylaw To Discharge a Land Use Contract
___________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS on the 27th day of December, 1978 the Regional District of Columbia-Shuswap and Nester Threatful and Astrid Marie Threatful entered into a land use contract pursuant to s.702A of the Municipal Act in respect of that part of Lot 32, District Lot 7, Group 1, Kootenay District, Plan 1067 shown outlined in red on Reference Plan 81310-I; and
WHEREAS the land that is subject to the land use contract was subsequently incorporated into the boundaries of the City of Revelstoke; and
WHEREAS the purpose of the land use contract has been fulfilled and Dennis Nester Threatful has agreed in writing to the discharge of the land use contract;
The Council of the City of Revelstoke, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. TITLE
This Bylaw may be cited as "City of Revelstoke Threatful Land Use Contract Amendment Bylaw No. 1477, 1994".
2. DISCHARGE OF LAND USE CONTRACT
The land use contract executed the 27th day of December, 1978 by the Regional District of Columbia-Shuswap and Nester Threatful and Astrid Marie Threatful, filed in the Land Title Office at Nelson, British Columbia on the 9th day of January, 1979 under Number N579, and modified by order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia dated the 15th day of June, 1979, is discharged and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the discharge documents.
