A Bylaw To Permit Encroachments On Highways

WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia deem it prudent to enact a Bylaw to permit encroachments on highways.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
l. THAT owners of properties legally described as:
Lots 9, l0, ll, and l2, Block 4, Section 34,
Township 23, Range 2, West of the 6th Meridian,
Kootenay District, Plan 636, located at
40l West lst St., Revelstoke, B.C.
are permitted to maintain, in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the Encroachment Agreement, attached as
Schedule "A" to this Bylaw, a building as described in the
Encroachment Agreement on that portion of highway described
in the Encroachment Agreement.
2. THAT this encroachment is as a result of the owner of said
lands constructing an addition to an existing encroaching
building, complete with a l.2l9 meter overhanging canopy.
3. THAT this Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon
the adoption thereof by City Council.
4. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City
of Revelstoke Highway Encroachment Bylaw No. l463, l993."
