BYLAW NO. 1456

A Bylaw to Permit Encroachments on Highways
_________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia deem it prudent to enact a Bylaw to permit encroachments on highways.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. THAT owners of properties legally described as:
Parcel A (See 105260I), Lot 1, Block 10, Section 27,
Township 23, Range 2, West of the 6th Meridian,
Kootenay Land District, Plan 636K - located at 800
Downie Street.
are permitted to maintain, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Encroachment Agreement, attached as Schedule "A" to this Bylaw, an accessory building as described in the Encroachment Agreement on that portion of highway described in the Encroachment Agreement.
2. THAT this encroachment is as a result of the owner of said lands dedicating a 3'-0" strip of land adjacent to 8th Street as a highway.
3. THAT this Bylaw shall come into force upon the adoption thereof by City Council.
4. THAT this Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke Highway Encroachment Bylaw No. 1456, 1993."
