Being a By-Law Authorizing the City to Enter Into an Agreement With B.C. Transit Authority
__________________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Revelstoke wishes to enter into an agreement with the British Columbia Transit Authority to undertake Planning, Research or Demonstration Projects relating to the provision of Public Passenger Transportation;
AND WHEREAS City Council have held preliminary discussions with British Columbia Transit Authority;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Revelstoke, Province of British Columbia, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
l. The Council hereby authorizes the entering into of an Agreement with
the British Columbia Transit Authority to undertake Planning, Research,
or Demonstration Projects relating to the provision of public
passenger transportation.
2. The maximum cost to the City shall be $3,000.00.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and seal the agree-
ment and do all things necessary for the carrying out of the
Agreement.
4. This By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke
British Columbia Transit Authority Agreement Authorization
By-Law #l4l7, l99l."
