CITY OF REVELSTOKE

A By-Law authorizing expenditure of monies in the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund.
___________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS there is an unappropriated balance in the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund established under By-Law #897 of $l,56l,l23.79 Dollars as at December 3l, l985 which amount has been calculated as follows:
Balance in Reserve Fund at December 3l, l985 $l,56l,l23.79
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend a portion of the monies set aside under said By-Law No. 897 for the purpose of Downtown Revitalization.
AND WHEREAS the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs has been obtained.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:
l. The Sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund to be
expended towards Downtown Revitalization as established by By-law
#l305, l986.
2. The expenditure to be carried out by the monies hereby appropriated
shall be more particularly specified and authorized by resolution
of the Council.
3. Should any of the above amount remain unexpended after the expen-
ditures hereby authorized have been made, any unexpended balance
shall be returned to the credit of the said Reserve Fund.
4. This By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Revelstoke
Downtown Revitalization Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund
Expenditure By-Law #l307, l986."
