CITY OF REVELSTOKE

A By-Law to authorize the expenditure of monies from the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund
__________________________________________________________________
WHEREAS there is an unappropriated balance of $l,660,744 at December 3l, l984
in the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund consisting of monies received from the sale of the Electric Utility including interest earned thereon and set aside in accordance with the provisions of Section 537 of the Municipal Act.
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend the sum of One Hundred And Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($l50,000.00) from the amount to set aside for the reconstruction of roads and streets.
AND WHEREAS the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs has been obtained:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Revelstoke in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:
l. This By-Law may be cited for all purposes as "City of Revelstoke Electric
Utility Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure By-Law #l294, l985.
2. The Sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($l50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Electric Utility Capital Reserve Fund for the recon-
struction of roads and streets.
3. Should any of the above amount remain unexpended after the expenditures
hereby authorized have been made, the unexpended balance shall be returned
to the credit of the said Reserve Fund.
