CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor McKee called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.


ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA:

Moved by Councillor MacFarlane, seconded by Councillor Gibbs that the Agenda be adopted as presented.
CARRIED


BUSINESS ITEMS:

1. Director of Parks and Recreation Memorandum –August 3, 2006 Re: Arena Condenser

Moved by Councillor MacFarlane, seconded by Councillor Johnston that Council award the contract to Norlock Refrigeration for the low bid of $76,048 to purchase and install the arena condenser, as recommended by Paragon Project Management Inc.
CARRIED


OTHER BUSINESS:

1. Railway Days

Councillor Gibbs requested that Council endeavour to dress up in period costumes during the week of Railway Days.

Moved by Councillor Johnston, seconded by Councillor Gibbs that the meeting adjourn at 3:40 p.m.
