MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL MONDAY, JANUARY 31, 2005,

CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor McKee called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.


ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA:

Moved by Councillor Richardson, seconded by Councillor Frew that the Agenda be adopted as presented.
CARRIED

1. Phase I Boundary Extension

A Declaration was presented that indicated that the City received one petition in response to the notice of Council’s intention to extend the boundaries of the Municipality of Revelstoke.

Moved by Councillor MacFarlane, seconded by Councillor Frew that the Council of the City of Revelstoke request the Minister of Community, Aboriginal, and Women’s Services that the Boundary Extension – Phase I proceed.
CARRIED
Opposed: Councillor Singh


RESOLVE INTO IN CAMERA:

Moved by Councillor Richardson, seconded by Councillor Frew that Council move into In Camera at 12:25 p.m. to consider items of business pursuant to Sections 90.(1) (c) of the Community Charter.
CARRIED
