CALL TO ORDER

Mayor McKee called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance.


ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA

Moved by Councillor O’Hagan, seconded by Councillor Frew that the Agenda be approved as presented.
CARRIED


BUSINESS ITEM:

1. TASK Construction Management Inc. Re; T2051 Revelstoke Aquatic Centre Bid Package #5 - Remainder of Bids - Mechanical and Electrical

Discussion was held regarding TASK’s review, dated May 3, 2004, of the mechanical and electrical portions of its Bid Package #5. Both tenders came in significantly over budget.

Moved by Councillor MacFarlane, seconded by Councillor Frew that Council accept the proposed cost savings as recommended by Task except for the three elements consisting of the lazy river pump, salt chlorine system and tots pool, and that TASK move forward with these contracts and that a final costing of these tenders be submitted to Council when available.
