CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor McKee called the meeting to order at 3:23 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA:

Moved by Councillor Singh, seconded by Councillor Richardson that the Agenda be adopted as presented.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

1. Agricultural Land Reserve Exclusion Application No. 2003-06

Moved by Councillor Frew, seconded by Councillor Johnston that City Council recommends that the twelve properties listed below be approved for exclusion from the Agricultural Land Reserve.

Moved by Councillor Richardson, seconded by Councillor O’Hagan that Council move into In Camera at 3:25 p.m. to consider items of business pursuant to Section 242.2 of the Local Government Act.

BUSINESS ITEMS TO REPORT:

1. Animal Control Contract

Council agreed that Ruth Kamnitzer be awarded the Animal Control Contract for a three year term at the following rates:

$52,488 first year
$50,091 second year
$51,343 third year
$153,922 Total Contract Price

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION(S):

Moved by Councillor Singh, seconded by Councillor O’Hagan that the resolution(s) as approved by Council In Camera, be adopted.
