MINUTES OF A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL ON FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2001

CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor Bernacki called the meeting to order at 11:50 a.m. and welcomed all those in attendance.


ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA:

Moved by Councillor Singh, seconded by Councillor Richardson that the Agenda be adopted as presented.
CARRIED

1. Cedar Street Extension Project

Moved by Councillor Fransen, seconded by Councillor Richardson that the Cedar Street extension be put on hold temporarily to allow Staff time to investigate other options; that Staff contact CP Rail and other property owners to discuss the possibility of improving the lower access for public purposes; and that the results of these investigations be reported back to Council at a future date.
CARRIED

Moved by Councillor Fransen, seconded by Councillor Singh that the meeting adjourn at 12:15 p.m.
