NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Please be advised that the City of Revelstoke has received an Official Community Plan Amendment application in conjunction with a Zoning Amendment application for 1608 Illinisky Road. A Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers located in Suite 102 – 103 Second Street East, Revelstoke, B.C. on Monday, July 14th, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

APPLICANT: Basin Construction Ltd. & Bughls Trucking Ltd.

ADDRESS: 1608 Illinisky Road

LEGAL: Lot 1 District Lot 7 Kootenay District Plan 5973 Except Part included in Plan 8435.

1. Proposed OCP amendment to change the land use designation from Residential to Industrial.

Reference: OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1912

2. Proposed Zoning amendment to change the zoning designation from Mobile Home District (R5) to Light Industrial District (M1).

Reference: Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1913

Purpose: To allow for construction of a storage facility.

We invite all persons who feel that their interest may be affected by the proposed Bylaws to consult with staff between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays from June 25th, to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14th, 2008.
