Revelstoke, BC - The City of Revelstoke is looking forward to implementing a responsible approach to the “Go-Forward Management Strategy” in re-opening facilities and services following Provincial guidelines with the community’s safety in mind. The Province has created a task force led by the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA) to establish guidelines for reopening recreational facilities including playgrounds. It is expected to be released by the end of May. The City is awaiting that report before moving forward with any further reopening of facilities and park amenities. In the interim, Parks and Recreation leaders have been asked to use discretion between now and the accepted plan for re-starting recreation.
