[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 - Hold the Line

Greenbelt_COVID-19

As the spring weather arrives, it’s tempting to take part in get-togethers as well as outdoor activities but with the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Revelstoke continues to support guidelines from Provincial and Federal leaders regarding social distancing and non-essential travel.

City parks are closed and while trails remain open for use at this time, people need to remain mindful of physical distancing requirements.  Citizens need to use these facilities in a manner that allows all users to remain as safe as possible,  even if the weather is good and more people may want to be outside for recreation.

BC Provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, urges British Columbians to ‘hold the line’ to stop the spread of COVID-19.  She reminds British Columbians to continue to work hard to “break the chains of transmission” of the coronavirus.
