The September 10th, 2019 Council Highlights are now available. During today's Regular Council Meeting, Council read the Inter-Community Business License Amendment Bylaw No. 2233, and 2020 Property Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 2251 for a First, Second and Third time, and adopted the Board of Variance Bylaw No. 2018. Council approved the revised terms for the Tourism Advisory Committee Restructure based on the amended version of staff recommendations. Council moved that the Westside Gravel Quarry Referral be completed, and that the DP2017-15 for 1570 Nichol Road be approved subject to the issuance of a parking variance. Council approved the special event permit for the LUNA Festival and approved that the $50,000.00 from the Revelstoke Community Forest Corporation dividend fund to be allocated to the Revelstoke Regional Library RevLab Project to assist with construction costs, including an addition to the Community Centre building.
