The City of Revelstoke is pleased to announce the appointment of Ingrid Bron, as its’ new Community Economic Development Director effective October 15, 2018. Ingrid will replace Nicole Fricot after a successful term of employment with the City.

Ms. Bron hails from Westport, Ontario with a highly accomplished professional career in the field of community economic development through broad ranges of experience at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Similar to Revelstoke, Ingrid’s previous municipal employment included challenges such as rapid growth with an unprecedented demand for residential properties, pressure on infrastructure capacity, and exciting new opportunities in recreation, adventure and cultural sectors. She has a Masters’ degree in Urban and Regional Planning, an Advanced Mediation Certificate, an Alternative Dispute and Conflict Resolution Certificate and is currently working toward EcD certification by the Economic Developers Association of Canada.
