Construction of the new Skateboard Board Park in Kovach Park will begin with the demolition of the existing park on May 28th, 2018.  Newline Skateparks Inc. designed the new skateboard park and is aiming to be on site on June 4th, 2018 to commence construction.  

The construction of the park will take approximately 14 weeks and the skateboard section of the park will remain closed for that time.  The new park will provide just over 15,500 feet of skateable terrain. Park features will include a pool bowl, flow bowl with bumps, rollers and extension options, and an additional street area.
