[ARCHIVED] Winter Tips for Frozen Water Lines

Frozen Water LIne

The City of Revelstoke Public Works department is advising all water users that with the expected cold weather, there is a chance that it could drive the frost deeper into the ground.  Therefore, anyone who has experienced frozen water lines in the past should leave their water taps running to avoid expensive thawing.  If you have experienced frozen water lines before, leave your water taps running to avoid disruption in your service.

If you have experienced issues in the past or are new to town, and are unsure - please contact the Public Works Department at 837-2001.
