Staff have been issuing warnings to residents watering outside of the permitted hours, but with continued dry weather in the forecast, warnings will no longer be given, instead, water use in contravention of the bylaw will be enforced by ticketing. Note that this applies City wide.

If water use does not decrease, Stage 2 restrictions will be implemented, which restricts water use to hand watering of plant material only, and may be expanded to restrict other uses of water.
