Tourism Wildfire Update (July 18th) – Revelstoke and surrounding area is currently open and free from wildfires. A special air quality statement has been re-issued for the area by Environment Canada due to increased smoke affecting air quality and visibility. If you are currently travelling, or plan to travel through British Columbia, please check Drive BC for updates about road closures and detours related to wildfires. For information about affected areas and regions of active wildfires, please look at the BC Wildfire Service map. Check Parks Canada Important Bulletins for information on national parks including Mount Revelstoke Glacier National Parks.
