Wish to apply for project funding?

The Community Initiatives & Affected Areas Program is now accepting applications for The City of Revelstoke and Electoral Area B of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District.

The Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs (CIP/AAP)—the Trust’s oldest programs—support projects identified as priorities within individual communities.

The CIP/AAP are funding programs designed to help address the needs of Basin communities. The programs are flexible and able to accommodate individual processes and they incorporate community-based funding decisions to better meet local priorities. Community Initiatives Program funds are allocated on a per capita funding formula. Affected Areas Funding uses a combination of per capita and lump sum finding formula. Funds are distributed once a year to the Trust’s local government partners: the regional districts of East Kootenay, Central Kootenay and Kootenay Boundary, and the City of Revelstoke, Town of Golden, Village of Valemount, Shuswap Band and Ktunaxa Nation Council.

The funding available for the 2017/2018 projects in Revelstoke is $384,056.

Program details can be found here.
