NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please be advised that a Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers located in Suite 102 – 103 Second Street East on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

APPLICANT: City of Revelstoke

1. Establishment of a Heritage Maintenance Standards Bylaw to establish minimum standards of maintenance for real property designated as protected by a heritage designation bylaw or located within a heritage conservation area.

Reference: Heritage Maintenance Standards Bylaw No. 2003

Purpose: The standards are intended to ensure that significant deterioration or damage does not jeopardize the life of a heritage building.

All persons who feel that their interest may be affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submission at the Public Hearing. The file for the proposed Bylaw is available for review in the Planning Department Office, City Hall, 216 Mackenzie Avenue, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011.
