NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please be advised that a Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers located in Suite 102 – 103 Second Street East on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

APPLICANT: City of Revelstoke

1. Proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment to Sections 3.1, 3.2 and Schedule K of the OCP. The proposed amendments include amending the vision statement, goals, policies and maps related to the Parks, Recreation and Culture element of the OCP.

Reference: OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1997

Purpose: To amend the Parks, Recreation and Culture elements of the City of Revelstoke Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1950.

All persons who feel that their interest may be affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submission at the Public Hearing. The file for the proposed Bylaw is available for review in the Planning Department Office, City Hall, 216 Mackenzie Avenue, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011.
