The City has planned a water system improvement project in the Oscar Street area beginning today which will last approximately 4 weeks. This project includes the installation of 80m of 200mm diameter water main and one fire hydrant. The water system improvements will enhance fire protection in the neighborhood and provide service to the multi-family development on Oscar Street.
During construction, there will be unavoidable interruptions to the supply of water. Residents will be notified in advance of any planned disruptions and we will make every effort to minimize the duration of any such event.
