UPDATE: Sept 1, 2020 - Re-Starting the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department
On September 8th, 2020 the Recreation Centre will be reopening in a phased approach. The initial phase includes the reopening of the preschool, fitness and aquatic centre facilities. Programming activities and room bookings will be introduced into the facility in October. We ask that all patrons read, understand, follow and respect the guidelines we have put in place for the health and safety of everyone. Click for MORE DETAILS!

UPDATE: August 10, 2020 - City Hall Construction
After a short stint of remote-only access to services due to construction, Staff have returned to City Hall while the building rehabilitation project continues.
Development Services is open to the public Mon-Fri, 12-3pm (closed on holidays) while Finance remains at the Revelstoke Community Centre with public drop-in hours Mon-Fri,
12-3pm, (closed on statutory holidays).
Appointments with the departmens can be made outside of these times
for those in need.

UPDATES on Coronavirus (COVID 19)
The City of Revelstoke is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely to ensure we continue to respond to emerging issues as they relate to City facilities, programs, services and events. This includes following the direction of Interior Health, British Columbia Centre for Disease Control or the Government of Canada.
While the COVID-19 situation is changing daily around the world, we are mindful that our community is concerned about the potential impact of the further spread of the coronavirus and we are acting accordingly to do what we can to support public safety.

As of June 30, 2020, the following is the status of our facilities:
Open to the Public
City Parks, Playgrounds, Splashpark and Skatepark
City Hall - Development Services has counter service 12-3pm, Mon-Fri (closed on Statutory Holidays), appointments can be made outside these hours - please note: changes in public access may change due to City Hall construction until the end of the year
Finance Department - Temporarily located at the Community Centre due to City Hall construction, counter service from 12-3pm, Mon-Fri (closed on Statutory Holidays).
Public Works Office - 7:30am - 3:30pm (Lunch Closure: 12-1 pm) - Monday to Friday (closed Statutory Holidays)
Fire Hall - 9am-4pm, Mon-Fri (closed Statutory Holidays), - Emergencies call 911
Please respect all markers and signage at City facilities regarding physical distancing and best practices for reducing the spread of COVID-19.

COMMERCIAL UTILITY PAYMENT DUE DATE RELIEF
To offer some financial relief for Revelstoke’s business community during the COVID-19 pandemic, Council has approved an amendment to the commercial utility bylaws (Utility Billing Due Date Amendment Bylaw No. 2262) which changes the second quarter payment due date from April 30 to two equal payments due July 31 and October 31, 2020.
