Standard First Aid with CPR-C/AED                          

Comprehensive training covering all  aspects of first aid, CPR and AED use! Whether you need training for employment or simply want to be prepared if needed to respond to life-threatening emergencies, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to act with confidence. Learn to recognize and treat head and  spinal, soft-tissue, facial, abdominal, chest, bone and joint injuries, burns and other common medical emergencies.

Standard First Aid is a prerequisite for taking your National Lifeguard.

First Aid

Emergency First Aid/ CPR-A

Using hands-on training and practice, this basic first aid course will give you the confidence to respond effectively in an emergency. You will learn lifesaving skills such as CPR/AED use and for obstructed airway procedures. You will also learn to recognize and respond to different respiratory and circulatory emergencies including asthma, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, and bleeding.

CPR-C

Be prepared to save a life! Knowing how to activate EMS, perform CPR, and use an AED are critical lifesaving skills that everyone should have. Learn how to recognize and treat the early signs of heart attack - additional skills include how to help someone who is choking.

Standard First Aid /CPR-C
Re-certification

Whether you need a current Standard First Aid certification for work or just want to refresh your knowledge, this 8 hour re-certification clinic has you covered.

Pre-requisites: Previous Standard First Aid certification. If previous award is more than five years old, we recommend you take the full Standard First Aid course instead.

CPR-C Re-certification

Although CPR-C certification is valid for 3 years, the Lifesaving Society recommends annual re-training to maintain CPR skills. Spend 4 hours with our certified instructors to practice the skills you need to save a life!

Pre-requisites: Previous CPR-C certification. If it is more than five years from date of issue of previous certification, it is strongly recommended you re-take a full CPR-C course.
