The Development Services Department considers the implications of a wide range of social, economic, physical, and environmental issues on the livability of the city.
The Department is responsible for Planning Services (including OCP Amendments, Subdivisions, Heritage Alteration Permits, Development Variance Permits, Development Permits, Rezoning, Temporary Use Permits, Sign Permits, Liquor Applications, Cannabis Applications and
Business Licence Applications)
The Department is also responsible for all Building Services (including Building Permits, Demolition Permits, Plumbing Permits and the Woodstove Exchange Program.
The Department works closely with other City departments and the
City Council to ensure that the City of Revelstoke remains a safe and attractive community for everyone.
